I'm going into a rest area restroom. I see a guy place what I think is a doll into a trashcan. We both leave but I have to use the restroom. I walk back inside and after using the urinal, I notice that what I think is a doll is moving. When I look closer, I see that the "doll" is an actual toddler. Suddenly, a girl walks out of a stall and when I tell her what happened, she tells me to ignore it. I tell her we need to call the police. She refuses and walks out. I call the police and tell them everything. At first I have no idea where I am but give the police a general location. After asking a guy about the address of the rest area, he gives it to me and I tell the police who then arrive. Suddenly, I'm in a large room with my mom. My mom, after a while gets annoyed and wants to leave. I tell her no. After a few seconds, she again says in an annoyed voice she wants to go home. I say to my mom that we're not leaving until I'm sure the kid is alright. I then see the child being put into a police car and being driven off. A woman then comes up to me and says that the kid will be fine, it was nice of me to stay to make sure the kid was okay and that I was a hero for saving the kid's life.
This dream appears to reflect your sense of responsibility and concern for the well-being of others. The rest area restroom setting may symbolize a temporary pause or break in your waking life. The initial encounter with the guy placing what you think is a doll into the trashcan may suggest a hidden truth or disregard for something important. However, upon realizing it is a toddler, your instincts kick in, and you become determined to ensure the child's safety by involving the police. The girl who tells you to ignore the situation could represent an aspect of yourself or others in your life who may prefer to avoid confrontation or difficult situations. Your determination to do the right thing and call the police suggests a strong moral compass and a desire to protect and help others. The shift to a large room with your mom could represent a symbol of comfort, familiarity, and support. However, her wanting to leave while you insist on staying reflects a conflict between your determination to see things through and her desire for comfort or convenience. The ending, where you are praised for being a hero, highlights your selfless actions and the positive impact you have on others when you prioritize their safety and well-being. This dream may suggest your need to trust your instincts, stand up for what you believe is right, and be a source of support and protection for those who may need it.
